Offered is a rare and wonderful handmade art pottery mug in beautiful blue glaze that features an unglazed dragon as the handle and a Viking maiden dragon slayer. This vintage mug was crafted by Stonebridge Pottery, England, in the Sprig Ware style, thought to be produced 1976 - 2007.
Because this mug is a hand-crafted creation, it will be unique as there should be no two that are exactly alike. It stands approximately 3 ½ inches tall to the rim (about 4 inches to the top of dragon) and 3 inches diameter at the rim (total width is about 5 ½ inches when including the handle) and has capacity of about 11 oz. It is in fabulous condition as I could see no chips, nicks, cracks, or discolorations. IMO it does not look used.
I would assume this mug to be hand wash only.
If you adore dragons, or love someone who does, this mug would be the perfect addition to a collection.
